Itinerary

Departure for Saint John In the morning, departure for Saint John in New Brunswick. Dinner and overnight stay included.

Saint John – Annapolis Valley The day begins with a crossing of the Bay of Fundy. Considered one of the Seven Wonders of North America, the Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world, reaching the equivalent height of a four-story building. In the afternoon, arrival in Digby, known as the scallop capital of Nova Scotia. Included scallop dinner. Guided visit of the Port-Royal National Historic Site, where you will discover the Habitation, a reconstruction of a French settlement dating from 1605 to 1613 in the Annapolis Royal region. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Annapolis Valley – Halifax In the morning, discovery of the Grand-Pré National Historic Site, located in the heart of the ancestral homeland of the Acadians. The site commemorates the 1755 Deportation and the symbol of courage represented by the epic poem Evangeline. Travel along the Lighthouse Route with a photo stop in the charming village of Mahone Bay. Arrival in Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Early in the afternoon, free time to explore this remarkable town preserved by both time and its residents. Stop at Peggys Cove, the most photographed village in Canada, famous for its picturesque fishermen’s houses, lighthouse, and breathtaking ocean views. Breakfast and lunch included.

Halifax – Baddeck Morning guided tour of downtown Halifax, renowned for its maritime history. Then visit the Halifax Citadel, a vast British fortification built to protect one of the four most important naval bases of the British Empire and designated a National Historic Site in 1935. After lunch, continue toward Cape Breton Island, reached after crossing the Strait of Canso. Breakfast included.

Baddeck – Sydney (2 nights) Travel along one of the most beautiful scenic routes in the country. Discover the famous Cabot Trail, known for its winding roads, forests, hills, and spectacular panoramic views. Several photo stops are planned along the way. Before continuing to Sydney, enjoy a stop at Ingonish Beach to relax by the beach. Breakfast and lunch included.

Sydney Begin the day with a visit to the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, the largest reconstruction of an 18th-century town in North America. You will feel as though you have stepped back into 1744, surrounded by costumed interpreters and beautifully restored authentic buildings. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Sydney – Moncton During the day, board the WinStar, a two-deck boat, for a cruise offering 360-degree views of the magnificent Bras d'Or Lake. After lunch, continue toward Moncton in New Brunswick. Breakfast and lunch included.
